Example 1:

Rail utility - Analogue Repeater / EX2000 application:


Requirement
:

A Railway Utility required a solution to provide voice communication at all times between all remote staff, regional support staff and train operators throughout a remote length of railway line.

Solution:

Two Exicom products were chosen to work together to achieve the desired outcome.

  • (1) EX2000 Terminals, configured in two distinct operating modes

    • Radio Base Station: Used to originate communications at either end of the railway line
    • Talk Through Repeater: Used for hand-held/land mobile access at intermediate points

  • (2) Analogue Repeater Terminals, to provide voice communications

    • Transfer of traffic to and from the Radio Base Stations at the line extremities
    • Transfer of traffic to and from the Talk Through Repeater Terminals at the intermediate points

Example 2:

Government communication - HAWK2 application:

Requirement:

Government monitoring facility needing ability to communicate with remote national park outposts.

Solution:

Dual channel HAWK2 with voice channel and 1x24 kbps modem data.
